i am a 47 year old female and was prescribed 30mg carbimazole twice daily for hyperthyroidism. after 2 months, i came out in an itchy welt like rash all over my torso and neck. the dr took me off this medication immediately and put me on propylthiourocil (try pronouncing it) have been on this for a month now and no side effects so far.

epazote can be found at the Korean farmers market $0.99 a pack fresh. Since I don't like the smell of it, I make the tea with a few fresh leaves and make coffee with the tea. It has help a lot with my arthritis and asthma.

I've ha abnormally (i.e. heart attack level blood pressure, ate only 38, and the beginnings of agoraphobia) I'm a little sleepy, but can finally remember what it is to feel normal. I'm finally not afraid to talk to people. don't laugh, but I went to the store today, and it was ok, nobody was staring at me, or pointing at me. Heck ,I'm proud, bought everything for a full real meal. I did pretty well.

My doctor tried to raise my dosage as lab results indicated that I am not getting enough, however when she did I began to have dizzy spells, a feeling that I was being choked and a feeling that I was having heart problems. I almost went to the ER until I realized what was probably happening. It worked better than Cymbalta, but does not come close to the efficacy of Effexor XR. I was hoping for mood improvement like Effexor XR used to provide, but all I experienced was a mild improvement over the Cymbalta. Disappointed overall with its performance and ready to try something else.
