I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex. I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. The first time I took it, I had no problems and, along with an anti-candida diet, my rashes cleared up. When family came for vacation, I relaxed on my diet and had wine and dessert, etc. The rashes came back quickly with splitting skin, itching, etc. After the family left, I started the Candex again (although I didn't wait the recommended time between taking the 2 capsules and food. The first two weeks were horrible. I couldnt sleep and extreme nausia. after the two weeks it gets 90% better. Personally I did not want to get on this in the first place because it is for weak people that cant deal with life, but it made me feel better. I no longer take it though in fear of addiction. If i cant handle life now when can I?

I wouldnt say much about the Isoniazid, because it was prescribed to me for symptoms of TB exposure, it is not that I was sick and now doing treatment, My doctor said it would be better to treat what could be come out to be TB.

I had Vinblastine Sulfate as a part of my chemotherapy regimen. Together with all of the medicines I lost my appetite, was nauseous, and I gained 20 pounds due to steroids. (This was about 2 years ago).

I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting).
