terrible experience. i was just so tired all the time that wasn't right. my energy level was really low and i did gain more than 6lb in two months. i stop with the pill after my secound month. it was a nightmare!

I would suggest asking for ANY alternative before taking this drug. I was switched to another one with no better/worse help but none of the foggy head, lethary, and weight gain. 30 pounds in two months could be dangerous for some people.

I started taking Seasonique on Nov. 15th. For about the first week or two I felt fine. I noticed that about 2 1/2 weeks later that I hade no moisture whatsoever in my vaginal area and I believe I have pretty much lost any interest in having sex at this point. During my 4th week on the pill I started to get cramps and clotting. I'm on my 5th week now and I am still having cramps and bleeding. My periods would normal last for 4 days. Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Excedrin is awesome. Much better than Motrin or aspirin. I took it after my dog kicked me in the eye(funny huh), the kick broke a giant blood vessel in my eyelid and was bleeding like crazy but Excedrin prevented the black eye so I'm pretty happy about it.
