During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses. I took Xyzal back on April 20th and April 21 only to find myself in the hospital. I only took 2 5mg tablets and had 5 days of hallcinations. My 2 sisters took me to the ER where they said it was a reaction to the medication. It was like being on drugs. i started levora about a week ago, before then i was very irritable and moody. the pill has actually bettered my mood and ive been very pleasant everyday. my skin is also clearing up. I can say i have been rather fatigued lately, but that is the only negative effect i am experiencing.

I am a 42 year old nursing student and I don't think that I would be able to continue with the nursing program if I was not on Vyvanse . Since being on Vyvanse I have been able to think clearly as well as remember material for school. Before medication I was studying 5 to 6 hours per night. and I would barely pass now with the same amount of studying my grades have improved greatly. My personality has changed Im not as hyper or ditzy anymore. Im very happy with Vyvanse.

This drug was a last ditch effort for me. It was trying this or having ECT which I am strongly against. I am happy that pristiq has given me much needed relief not only from depression but from anxiety as well. The only really awful side effect I had at first was nausea. It was very strong for about 3 weeks and then faded as time has gone on. I would recommend anyone whose tried other medications that haven't worked well for them to try this one.
