I have been taking Carbimazole medicationf or 5 months now. I find it very expensive and beginning to think the Radioactive iodine therapy is my next step. Is it not easier to treat the hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism?? I have been battling extreme itchy feet and hands - mostly later in the day.

This if one horrid product for about 1/2 the people that use it. I am a senior so when I go shopping I ask heavier or older people if they take it and if there are any side effects. About half say yes or they know someone on it that has problems. My Urine had got very smelly, so bad one had to wash after urinating or the stench came through ones clothing. I'd never taken Femcon Fe before but I started it 2 months ago. It's made me moody, my periods are spotty and this week I developed extremely blurry vision. I'm seeing my obgyn next week to get a different prescription. All the symptoms seemed tolerable other than this horrible blurry vision. I used to take ortho-tri-cyclene lo and i LOVED it so i reccommend that to anyone who is shopping around.

i have been prescribed about 8 different tablets but all have given me serious side effects but not moxonidine so far,i have been taking these now for two weeks and all seems fine compared to the other medication i have tried in the past.
