When I take Zantac an hour before I eat a meal that causes heartburn, it effectively prevents it. I don't have any noticeable side effects.

It's working on my Prostate Cancer, lowering my PSA from 141 to 75 in one month. Nothing else is working on this aggrressive cancer. Doctors sayif it And it is, that I can add another year to my life. And that's better than the two months or so that I was looking at.

I had many of the side effects listed for Advair. They started slowly until the 26 day I developed a painful red swollen tonsil...I couldn't swallow without pain. My voice was hoarse, I had feverish chills, parts of my body became numb and I was tired all the time. I started getting frequent outbreaks of herpes/shingles on my sacrum which continued weeks after use. I've been taking it for a very long time now. It works well for me. I see that it kind of wears off after about 7 hours, but I don’t feel like it’s a huge difference once the effect is gone. When I was in school it helped me concentrate and I went from being a D student to an A/B student. It just really helped me pay attention. I would really recommend this medication to anyone who has ADD/ADHD.

I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding. First few months just some occasional spotting--I thought I was just getting used to it--but by month 5--I was bleeding for over 2 weeks straight--not really heavy--but enough to have to wear a pantylin...
