I works just as tylenol works but a little more specific for cramps. Its works great I just didn't like all the bloating and the feeling that I wanted to throw up. Other than that it was okay.

The blood clot potential is very high relative to the same side effect in other birth control tablets. I think the testing process should be extended by the FDA to ensure consumer safety.

I am 29 years old, and had been taking Lexapro for about 4-5 years. It worked really well for my depression/anxiety. I thought I would be on it for life. But the sexual side effects took their toll. I lost 95% of my ability to get aroused. I failed to get excited with 4 different girls and left them thinking my little guy was a dud. Mononessa has served me well the past two years. I switched from Tri-nessa (generic ortho tri cyclin), which seems to have been a good choice. I would recommend this to others, because it works fine and it is less expensive than other birth control pills.

Since going on this pill, I developed SI Joint Dysfunction. I didn't think the pill had any affect on it, but I went off it for 3 months and had relief of my symptoms. Not complete recovery, but much better. Then I went back on TriCyclen and three days later the severe pain came back. I took the pill for another week without relief. Then, I decided to stop the pill and the pain subsided. I'm about to try the pill one more time for confirmation of the symptoms.
