Went to the doctor with an infected leg . I was treated .cleaned the area of infection on the leg and had some antibiotic cream applied. Three days later the leg wound was still infected with bacteria. I'm allergic to penicillin, but apart from that I'm one of the lucky ones that never normally suffers from drug side effects - I've been given many different antibiotics and never had any effects similar to this one. I went to the dentist healthy, within 24 hours I had reactions/infections that I never normally suffer - never had a yeast infection or sinus infection before taking this drug. DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. Hi, Same here, weakness, fatigue and shortness, just not feeling myself. Was told to take it at night but still having problems... Hate this drug.... I was put on it for svt and found out that I had wpw had ablation done two weeks ago it was corrected. Waiting for follow up so I can get off this drug. Again this is a bad drug!!! totally agree! Hope you are feeling better!
