I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. Umcka is available in many forms. I have found them equally useful and have had no side effects. My favorite is the hot drink powder because it's nice to have a hot drink when you're feeling sick.

I can't imagine taking this for another 4 years. It was hard enough to get through cancer treatments, but to have to deal with this on top of all that is unconceivable. Trying to keep my vigor and conviction to heal, but without sleep and so much pain it is difficult to say the least. I have gained weight and try to excercise but I now have tears in the miniscus of both knees and looking at surgery for that. I also have arthritis in both knees I didn't have before. I think that my body is building a tolerance to it because it takes more pills to work. I like it because it puts me to sleep but the last time I had a headache I had to take 3 within 2 hours to get to sleep.
