I have taken nuvigil for about a year now. I have not had a problem with hair loss. As for sleeping, I don't normally have a problem. I too am a teacher and have difficulty with my summer's lack of routine. I know the medicine doesn't help as much if I don't take it right away in the morning. Also, I have started using the alarm clock to have a more consistent wake-up time; this seems to help too.

Before taking zoloft, I had such a bad mental clarity, I kept forgetting words, I couldnt concentrate or focus and I felt as though my mind was always foggy. Off-label prescription for insomnia, co-administered with other serotonergics by an incompetent PA. Only took 7 half-doses, spaced over 2 weeks. Profound neurotoxic reaction included shock sensations, hallucinations of vibration, and eye-movement irregularities (seemingly permanent, as it has been over a year now). Lyrica has given me my life back. My fibromyalgia pain had gotten so bad my flare ups were back to back. I had read horrible things about the side effects of Lyrica and was afraid to try it, until I finally felt as if I had nothing to lose. The pain was gone almost immediately. I take one 50mg pill in the morning and 2 50mg at night so I am not on the highest dose. I have 3 daughters, all whom have received the gardasil series of 3 shots. My oldest and youngest have not had any major side effects, however, my 16 year old, has had many health problems since receiving her 3rd shot.
