Have been taking Topamax for about 5 years for migraines. At one point I was up to 300 mg/day but am now down to 200 mg/day. This medication has been challenging at times. I have experienced all the typical side effects to varying degrees. The most challenging side effect for me is the speech aphasia that I experience. had to get off it and switch to boniva as it was reacting with my zoloft. i was getting depressed for no reason after taking it for almost a year. no data on it from the company but i have a friend who had the very same problem much better after taking boniva now
