I had Vinblastine Sulfate as a part of my chemotherapy regimen. Together with all of the medicines I lost my appetite, was nauseous, and I gained 20 pounds due to steroids. (This was about 2 years ago).

I have been taking this medicine for 2 years, for migraines, and I am now starting to really see problems. I have gotten to the point now that I am lossing my short term memory, even important events! Which makes me terribly afraid. Urinating is difficult as well. I am also very irritable. Another thing is blurred vision. I am seeing my doctor this afternoon to discuss other options.

As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.

ALERT! Many people get vaccines, including Gardasil, with no problems. However, some are not so lucky. Here is our story: About a week after her first Gardasil shot, my daughter started having severe problems. She could barely walk and was nearly crippled with Arthritis and extreme abdominal pain. It took some time to adjust the medication. The initial dose was too high for me. I was crying, upset and had not motivation to be active. After the dose was lowered, my happiness returned but some of the pain as returned too.

Midrin was wonderful, but I grew out of it. According to my doctor, it really only works for kids and teens. It didn't always help with the full blown migraine, but it did wonders if taken at onset. I did experience a lot of nausea, but as long as I took the medication with food (hard to do with a migraine), it wasn't so bad.

I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.
