Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. I take pristiq with wellbutrin(150 mg) every day. The combination helps to manage my depression and anxiety. I have a very stressful job and have had a tremendous amount of stress in my life due to personal and professional events.
