Over a year ago (9/2008) I fell very badly on concrete, with my left leg bent underneath me. After various doctor visits and therapy sessions, which did no good, I decided to do what a friend told me to do for months...TRY ZYFLAMEND! Terrible! Try getting off this medication! It messes up your brain chemistry. I ended up in the psych ward after the terrible anxiety after trying to taper off. I did not alleviate any nerve pain that I had or still have. It's cousin Lyrica is just as dangerous! I would not suggest either of these meds. Antisiezure meds should be used for that purpose only. The blood clot potential is very high relative to the same side effect in other birth control tablets. I think the testing process should be extended by the FDA to ensure consumer safety.

I would suggest asking for ANY alternative before taking this drug. I was switched to another one with no better/worse help but none of the foggy head, lethary, and weight gain. 30 pounds in two months could be dangerous for some people.

Have only recently started using the cream for persistent eczema - I don't have any obvious side effects from it and it is somewhat effective (eczema comes back if I stop using it, however). I'm concerned about using this long term and would be interested to know if anyone has used it for a while, or if anyone has any alternatives for eczema that have proved successful.
