I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. A year ago I started to notice painful bumps under my left armpit. I had gone to several doctors and they had given me a different antibiotic than Doxycycline. It had been a reoccurring problem for me so I just recently visited the dermatologists where he did tests and found it to be a MRSA infection. I have always had a lot of joint pain and headaches. I take Tylenol to get rid of them. When I was younger, I used to break bones a lot and taking Tylenol helped once they had healed and I just had aches.

Absolutely hate it, went from working out 5days/week to almost zero. I barely even have a period if any, which worries me of pregnancy. I have gained 10 lbs in the past 3 months. A lot more moody.

I recently discontinued Seroquel (last month) because of some mild tardive dyskinesia (in the form of mouth tics). The tics worsened after I stopped taking the medicine, but quickly improved and are now almost 100% gone.
