I switched from Tri-Sprintec to Reclipsen because I was having breakthrough bleeding and was annoyed with it and wow, I wish I wouldn't have switched. Reclipsen gave me the worst bloating of my life. My stomach was actually in pain - so bloated in the last week of pills that I would have trouble wearing my normal-sized pants. The problem is that, the food is highly selective. I have to constantly choose what to eat, and what not too. This is seriously annoying, because carbohydrates are almost everywhere. When my blood sugar is too low, I take some malt or any sweet drink to balance it. When it is too high, it has side effects too, such as loss of your mind, fever, hallucinations, etc.
