Having taken Wellbutrin for several years, I find it does help with keeping my mood better overall. It does not cure the depression, and I am not what I would consider "functional". I still am frequently mentally "overloaded" and shut down. I can handle little pressure. Life in the slow lane is all I can handle, and even that is still too much sometimes.

I have experienced severe anxiety and depression, coupled with incessant coughing and difficulty breathing. The joint pain has been unbearable. I would wake up at night feeling as though I was being tortured, in too much pain to even turn over. Since being on Lantus, I've noticed an increase in arthritic pain and swelling of the knee joints. Some days it's difficult for me to walk I'm in so much pain. My finger joints are now inflammed and adding to the pain I'm already in. I've also gained weight and that angers me after I worked so hard to lose the weight. I went to my primary care physician today because I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and headaches for some months now. Had a bout of Epstein Barr last summer so assumed I was still fighting the infection or possibly something else was amiss with my health.
