vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. I tried to stay the course for about 3 weeks but loss of energy, nausea and occasional vomiting had me asking my doctor to get me off of Atenolol. I work out at the gym several times a week and noticed, (I wear a heart monitor to gauge my fat-burning and cadio zones), that I could not get above about 85 on my pulse rate when 115-120 was the target easily achieved before Atenolol. Result: I perpetually felt sluggish, morose and knew this drug was NOT for me.
