I have always suffered from mild panic attacks and anxiety since my parents divorced as a child. For a long time, I thought it was just a flaw when my doctor explained to me some people just need help relaxing their nerves when it comes to stress and anxiety. Having taken Wellbutrin for several years, I find it does help with keeping my mood better overall. It does not cure the depression, and I am not what I would consider "functional". I still am frequently mentally "overloaded" and shut down. I can handle little pressure. Life in the slow lane is all I can handle, and even that is still too much sometimes.
