Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. Everyone is different, I know, but so many people, me included, experience terrible side effects from missing ONE dose. My doctor told me that I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Benadryl is a great medicine to stop an allergic reaction. I take the 12.5 childrens grape chewables and usually only need to take one to stop my reaction. The only downfall is it makes me a little sleepy
