I was on this for a year....originally bad PMS, I was told to take it for 10 days a month, then me and my long term partner split and I was told to take it everyday to support me. Based on my experience I'd recommend that you consider whether to avoid the vaccine or wait for further testing, expecially if you have a family history of autoimmune disease. For me, my vaccine with Gardasil was followed by or triggered an auto immune reaction- arthritis, fatigue, painful swelling of joints, etc.

The most positive and unanticipated side effect, besides clearing up my strep throat, is that I experience a level of energy that I haven't known for close to 4 years, since the birth of my son. It makes me think that I've had a long-term low level infection for a long time that the azithromycin is clearing up. We'll see what happens once my prescription runs out in a few days!

i dont like taking pills, so i dont like the medication. but my doctor tells me to take it and since it works i keep taking it. it helps control my cholesterol and makes me feel better physically.
