How can I tell of I have side effects from Tobrex or just experiencing an eye allergy? Since I started using the generic version,tobramycin ophthalmic, I have developed some itching in my eye, but I also work in a congested shop floor with a lot of allergens and toxins, so I wasn't sure if these are drug side effects or not. The drug warning label is of little help.

I play a lot of sports and only take this as needed which is 1 to 2 tablets per week (50mg/tablet). I find it very effective for my lifestyle in helping me enjoy playing as hard as I do. I find Ultram to be quite effective at controlling pain from sports injuries for considerably longer than vicodin with reduced dry mouth, reduced constipation, less inflamation and I remain more mentally alert.

I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. Severe Nerve pain following surgery to remove a benign tumor. At a very high dose, the pain is controlled, numbed which is a blessing. Side effects arent real good though. Dry Mouth is real bad, Drowsy and tired, loss of sexual function, mental fog, loss of memory, confusion, twitching muscle spasms. Have tried other meds, but this is the only one that has controlled the pain, and unfortunately that makes it worth it for now.
