I also had positive results in the first four days. Anxiety was controlled and I had a sense of well being. I am now in the fifth month and am continuing to see a huge improvement in both my mood and temperament. I was diagnosed with General Anxiety in 2003. I briefly went on Buspar and Effexor; Effexor practically put me in a fog, so I didn't end up taking it very long. In 2005 I took on employment at a call center and in 2006 began to have serious panic attacks. Needless to say, preparing to go to work each day only added to the anxiety I felt. I am 29 years old, and had been taking Lexapro for about 4-5 years. It worked really well for my depression/anxiety. I thought I would be on it for life. But the sexual side effects took their toll.
