Miconazole didn't work for me, so I ended up going back to the doctor. Feels really gross too so it made me feel kind of self concious.

I experienced paranoia, horrible panic attacks, a sense of dread and nightmares, Never experienced anything like this. I thought I was losing my mind. This began around the 4th day on the meds and lasted for several months. I was worried I would never be myself again! I don't recommend this to anyone!

the odor is terrible. it smells like a cheap musky cologne. it stays in my clothes and can still be smelled on my skin after i shower. i also feel paranoid about coming in contact with my wife (who is breast feeding) and my 2 small daughters.

I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. I've been trying to get several plantar warts removed by my dermatologist for 6 monthe with no results. Have only recently started using the cream for persistent eczema - I don't have any obvious side effects from it and it is somewhat effective (eczema comes back if I stop using it, however). I'm concerned about using this long term and would be interested to know if anyone has used it for a while, or if anyone has any alternatives for eczema that have proved successful.
