I have experienced the rare side effect of visual disturbances each time I have taken this drug. The central visual disturbances are now geting too much for me and I am considering quitting taking it. It has taken myself and my GP some time to eliminate my migraines and my other medication, Topamax, from causing these unwanted side effects.

I have noticed more energy since using Testim. No difference in libido. I have noticed a slight drop off in energy after the 6th week. I have started regular light exercise and have noticed muscle growth. Some shoulder muscle pain, but that may be due to exercise. My major concern is hair loss. I was loosing some up top, but have noticed that it has increased. Will get blood test in February to see where my T levels are now (was 200). Can I take Propecia to offset the hairloss due to Testim?

I suffer from fibromalgia, and depression has got worse due to relationship problems,children,bereavement. I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. I do take 1000 mfg of OTC Niacin - quick release, which has been more instrumental in reducing cholesterol, and other lipids. This can cuase severe etching, if done on emply stomach, and whiteout taking aspirin 15minutes before.
