While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. I like the medication and it works, but I just don't like the pink color, for some reasons. But the pinkcolor is good as well, because it helps me to identify it easily, as I don't know many pink medications.

Although there are a lot of unwanted side effects,these are nothing in comparison to the crippling migraines I used to suffer daily. As a young woman with a toddler I can't be in bed 5 days out of 7 in a week with migraine and this wonder drug is the only one which works for me.
