First time i have tried mucinex, usually fight off broncititus atleast twice a year, yes each major weather change spring and fall. Usually takes me 3 weeks to finally get back in gear each time. Tried mucinex this time took the extended release type 600 twice a day, it worked BUT I do have a warning to pass along. Solodyn has been and still is terrible to me the last two weeks. I only took it 3weeks. I was not taking any other meds. No one could tell me why i was sick. 3 different doctors so many test. fever,chills,sweats,enlarged liver,fatigue, not eating, terrible itchy rashes. The first night I took Tizanidine, I was very drowsy and dizzy as if I were in a drunken stupor. I could not function at normal speeds and could not even stay awake to read a paper. Every night after the first night, I was fine!

This drug is DANGEROUS. It damaged my lingual nerve permanently. I now have a paresthesia/dysesthesia of my tongue, right side, going on 17 months. It is torture. My taste is altered along with burning pain and tingling in my tongue on the right side.

I only used it once and I had a terrible experience with it, even though for all intent and purposes it did work. The night I took it, I woke up in sweats and I starting vomiting pretty badly. I was also dizzy and I could barely stand. I was up all night, but the next day I was fine.
