I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. I'm 24 yrs old and I took the 3 Gardasil shots, I had not immediate side effects until about 2 weeks after my last shot I started feeling week, tired and sleeping more than usual. I started breaking out baddly on my face and back, its nothing like I have ever experienced before. I used to take claritin for allergies but once zyrtec was placed over the counter I started using it. I have allergies to animals, pollen, and other outdoor things and Zyrtec works for all of them. It also works much quicker than claritin so I can take it on an as needed basis- although during the spring and fall I normal have to take it every day. I relieves itchy water eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and prevents congestion. Its worked great and I would recommend it for allergies!

I am confused as to dosing,as some articles say 2000 IU or 5,000IU.I want to use it to boost immunity to the flu. My husband had prostate cancer,I have fibromyalgia and have an 8 year old child.Some say do not take it on a sunny day.Others say up the dosages if there is a flu outbreak.Most MDs are clueless about vitamins.Mine has not heard of its usage for the Swine flu.Europe is way more advanced .Do I have to take it all winter?
