(Using this pill for 2 1/2 years) Pros: Yasmin did a good job of preventing pregnancy, it cleared my skin and made my hair shiny. Cons: I've had more breast tenderness while on this pill, especially a week before my period, which I'm sure contributed to my mood swings. In the first year, I had issues with migraines, but that's calmed down during the second year. It also has been difficult to control my weight, which is my biggest issue with it. I find that the Qualaquin does not act as fast as previous quinine did. Usually takes 15 minutes or more to realize leg cramp effects. Sometines takes 2 tablets for compete relief.

I get slightly flushed with Niaspam, but I take it with a baby aspirin and only when I'm going to bed. Some slight itching occurs, but I usually get to sleep fine anyway.

For blood pressure-hared to urinate bladder pressure needed catheter to urinate. VERY BAD memory loss, could not think clear of find words to remember places and putting thoughts into words,sweating& hot flashes swollen feet,legs and ankles,blurred vision...may lower BP but not worth the side effects for me I stopped this medication and after 6 weeks effects are less but some still there,still very blurred vision,memory is better, urine has cleared,able to urinate regualr now.
