I use this drug for cold sores and it is very effective for shortening the duration of them. It also gets rid of the stinging involved with an outbreak. I have to take them at first tingle to shorten the duration. If it has already broken out then it is less effective.

I went to my primary care physician today because I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and headaches for some months now. Had a bout of Epstein Barr last summer so assumed I was still fighting the infection or possibly something else was amiss with my health. I've tried them all! With reservations, I purchased Herplex and was humbled! It was the first medication to actually prevent cold sores from oozing open. Puzzled as to why I could no longer find it at Wal-Mart, I found this site and discovered it is no longer available. What a disappointment. I wish I had a dollar for every time I suggested Herplex to someone.

That's exactly how I have been feeling! I feel depressed, irritable, and very hungry! I feel like I want to vomit all the time! Last night, I woke from my sleep vomiting! To stop the queezniness I eat salty crackers. If the increase in appetite does not cause weight gain, eating fatty foods to calm your stomach certainly will.
