I had perfect fasting blood sugar levels prior to taking Lipitor and now regularly have fastings of 283 or higher (even when my blood sugar level at night is perfect prior to going to bed). I had a salad for supper tonight and took the normal amount of insulin I took prior to taking Lipitor and later had a blood sugar level over 400. I have been on this drug with Revatio for 8 years since 2007 for Grade 4 PAH, until this year the only side effects I have really notice is decreased libido and ED. I am not on Oxygen but use a CPAP for Sleep Apnea. In March of this year I had a small seizure while on vacation ( no previous history of seizure) I was checked by a doctor and they could find no physical deficits.
