It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.

My 15 year old daughter got 2 out of the 3 required Gardasil shots in the fall of 2009. Two weeks after her first shot, we were in the emrgency room with severe abdominal pain, weeks of tests showed nothing wrong, after her second shot the paid increased and caused a new pain in her back. We again went to ER more weeks of tests - nothing. I have a cold and I lost my voice now so I am taking this to break up the mucus in my lungs. I still have no voice but it does help a little.

I bought this medicine to topically apply it to cure a ringworm infection I have. I tried the fast acting lamisil and have had poor results. Clotrimazole, yielded me with better results but it took weeks to do it. I had some reoccurence of that ringworm again just recently and used this same topical medication to do it and as expected, my ringworm is gone.

I was given Ceftin to treat a possible sinus/ear infection. I developed antibiotic-associated colitis after taking it. While I took the Ceftin, however, there were no side effects to speak of.
