I use a mix of drugs as preventive for my "Cluster" condition one is Topamax. At first I was on 250mg and it was terrible as I lost weight, dizzy, total lack of concentration and at time could not even remember my telephone number or home address. No aftyer treatment I am down to 25mg (morning and 50mg night and I feel no side effects yet I still feel a slight lack of concentration, drowsiness and weight loss. In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens. I took this only once, and it produced extreme chest tightness, breathing problems, stomach problems, severe dizziness, and anxiety. Within hours of taking it, I felt like someone had a fist in my chest, my breathing was labored, and I was so dizzy I was knocking into the walls. I'm still having some of these symptoms (though quite reduced) after three days. I've seen others on other sites reporting the exact same symptoms, yet dr "not sure" it's the medication.

Completely loved the convienience of the NuvaRing, seemed that every month the side effects got progressively worse, started out with a headache that lasted a week, then each month I would get a headache the day I would put a new ring in, eventually I ended up with severe diarrhea that I couldnt even eat and left me with horrible abdominal cramping. I experienced moderate nausea the first week. That stopped, but I then developed severe, long lasting headaches. Pain relievers do not help. They just have to go away on their own.

My Daughter will be 13 in one month and received her 2nd shot of gardisil two days ago. Within 3 hrs of receiving the shot, she was curled up on the couch with extreme pain in her legs, dizziness, nausia, and a splitting headache. The pain progressed to her arms by yesterday afternoon, along with the other symptoms, leading her doctor to suspect Guillain-Barré syndrome.
