I wanted to stop taking the drug because of the side effects however the side effect from stopping even gradualy gave me severe seizures or commonly called "Brain Zaps" so bad I don't want to stop. I feel like its a trick and my Dr. recommended me to double the dose. So he is like my crack dealer and now I am stuck on this pill forever.

If I don't have atleast 10 hour sleep at night after taking Minipress XL 2.5 mg, then I don't get strength on my feet to move around coupled with slight head imbalance making the total feeling uncomfortable. I feel like it is really drying my eyes out. I continue to drink plenty of water but I have to take it every 2 hours for the first two days and then every 4 hours for 4 days after that.

Percocet makes me very ichy, nausea, vomiting, weightloss but it takies the pain away enough so that i can sit, stand and use my crutches with out pain, but with out them i have sleepless nights, hot and cold sweats and pain beyond anything i could have imagined.

I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term.
