I have had excellent success with cipralex, treating anxiety and depression. Ive been on it for almost three years. In the past year i have noticed some symptoms which i suspect is the drug. The symptoms are loose stool, mild nausea, intermittent sleep issues amd weight gain of about 10 lbs. i need at least 8 hrs of sleep at night and do not have the same energy as i had before. My son was diagnosed as Bipolar but was mostly manic and rarely depressed. The doctors started him on Effexor which put him in such a high state of mania that he had to be hospitalized. Yet the doctors kept prescribing this poison. They counteracted it with Seroquel which made him sleep, and Lithium which made him shake so badly he could barely hold onto anything. It definitely worsens the rosacea. Certainly, does absolutely zero for outbreaks - except to exacerbate them. I am strongly considering filing a formal complaint about it with the FDA. My face is a mess with red blotches and that piece of garbage medicine does nothing!!

Unfortunately, I have had a real problem with hormonal birth control. I'm currently taking Microgestin, and while I'm kind of miserable on it, it's not as bad as what I experienced with Ortho. My only real complaint is that I have developed contact lens intolerance, and get red, gritty, painful eyes every time I wear my lenses for more than one day at a time.
