I have gotten terrible muscle weakness and joint pain. I have taken this medication for 1 year and 1/2. I have gone through a serious of test to try to detect the cause of my pain. I have used Medrol Paks every 8 weeks to help. Recently I read the disclosure sheet that come from the pharmacy with my levothyroxine. With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned.
