I have only just realised how many problems, I had in the last 2 years, were side effects from taking Simvastatin. I may be one of a small minority but if your medical checkups are only once a year and you haven't been appraised of the potential side effects then you suffer unnecessarily. When the doctor who prescribes the drug for you is not astute, or enlightened, enough to pick up your problems as side effects then this just compounds the problems.

I am not crazy, I am on the wrong form of birth control for me. I have gained 30+ pounds and have NO sex drive. I am not interested in anything, and I am fat. That being said, I am not pregnant which is the whole point of the IUD. I am taking it out next week and going back on the pill; a new baby is easier to handle than anymore weight gain.

Unfortunately Microgestin Fe has caused me to have bloating and irregular stool, breakouts and a change in skin type from normal to Oily, extreme gas, stomach cramping that lasts weeks at a time, I have not had weight gain but my body does appear to be swollen (not only to the sight but to the touch), fatigue. I do not recommend this drug.

Hey, I am starting to think about the side-effects of Depakine in the long term - the slowdown of brain fucntion, hair-loss, later kidney and liver demage and concentration. I am only 28 now, was 25 at the first episode. And I am really aware of the long-term slowdown of the brain.

Stop taking it- I had severe depression for a year and I'm on Necon now and I've done a complete turnaround in feeling better and have lost weight even. I have PCOS. I should have gotten off a lot sooner but with two kids I was too busy to call dr. and take care of me. I do regret being on it for so long but two dr. told me pills don't cause depression. They are wrong.
