Originally had severe soar throat, high temp, and fluid in ear. Received amoxilcillan and cleared up fever but still had spots then got cough. Tried augmentin and that didn't help, though upset my stomach. Trying to get rid of a cough I had for a month and fluid in the ear. I didn't want a 3rd antibiotic so was recommended I try this. If this didn't work then will try Biaxin XL PAC.

Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... I have had to go without cymbalta before if I've missed a dose or wasn't able to fill it right away and I notice a huge difference like a withdrawl affect. I will get nervous/anxious, sweaty, fidgity, irritable.
