My doctor has had me try several different medicines for Bi-Polar disorder. We settled on Depakote because it seemed to do an adequate job with fewer side effects than the other medicines. It seems that since I have been taking it, I have started having more side effects. I have extreme hair loss (although it does grow back) and kidney pain. I have a constant fatigue. It has not made me feel better or "normal".

after starting Azor I have experienced mussel and joint pain my eyes get dry and the bottom of my feet get real sore and its painful to walk. in winter I cough a lot at bed time I am clearing my throat all the time and the back of my toung gets sore.

Whenever I would get food poisoning I would take domstal (domperidone) and the vomiting would stop immediately. However, if I missed a dose the effect would wear out. You need to continue the dose as prescribed otherwise the nausea will return like it did for me.

During the spring and summer I use tincture of fresh Hawthorn leaves and flowers. During the winter I switch to the fresh berry tincture. My blood pressure used to be 140+/98+ on a pretty regular basis with occasional peaks up to 200/120. After a couple of months taking Hawthorn tincture my usual bp is below 120/80 (typically 117/ 76) with occasional spikes up to 150/94. My heart murmur has also disappeared and I rarely notice any irregular heart beats.

I'm no longer taking Lipitor, thank God. After a year of testing and doctor visits it was discovered that I was having side effects from Lipitor. I had been complaining of muscle ache and weakness, shortness of breath, fatigue, blurry vision and tremors for a year, but no one would listen. It took a pulmonary hypertension doctor to take a test that revealed the results. It's been 3 years now since I stopped Lipitor. I take 1000 mg of CoQ10 and 1500 mg of L-Carnatine.
