they have given me shackey hands,have caused hair loss and after over 20years of taking them they keep me awake and i only take them as the side effects of stopping this drug causes panick attacks and is horrendous,my doctor has now said they have to go But i have to do this in two weeks! But she will then replace them with an up to date drug!

I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan. I switched to Wellbutrin after weaning myself from Cymbalta. I started taking Wellbutrin two weeks ago, 150 mg. Twice a day. I do smoke, but really wasn't my goal at this time to quit. I turned 65 this July 28. Five years ago I had, and used weekly, a fitness club membership.
