At first I didn't really have any side effects.Then about a month into the pack,I noticed I was very irritable,moody,short tempered and slightly angry. Xanax worked both as anti-anxiety medication and for insomnia. Small doses taken before bed seemed to help me fall asleep and stay asleep for about 8 hours, however upon waking up, and falling asleep, I found that memory and overall energy were both affected in a somewhat negative way.

I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary.
