I have rosacea and had been taking oral antibiotic, minocin 50 mg 2-3X per week since 1998; I felt like I was developing a tolerance and might have to increase dosage; instead I went off the minocin, and when my face started to blossom, I took Zyflamend, one capsule per day with food and have been doing so for 3 weeks now. I took one dose of this medicine, got flushed, hot and very lightheaded. Next thing I knew I was on my way to the emergency room via ambulance. The drug made me pass out. I got 16 stiches, a broken nose and 4 staples in my head from my fall. I would not recommend this medicine. Even the emergency room doctor said that this is all to common with this medicine

I have been having a difficult 2 months of seasonal allergy problems that has left me with a nasty & wicked cough from irritated bronchial tubes. This was the first time I tried Mucinex DM and I have had only 1 pill since starting it last night. First of all I slept through last night without waking up once, and today my cough has been reduced by at least 90%. Now that is a great product!

I take Tums because I like the taste and although I am not low on calcium, I consider them safe as a calcium supplement- if taken as directed. They work for indigestion, too, but if I take one on an empty stomach I get stomach pains.
