Originally, my dosage was started at 50mg, then raised gradually to 150mg. So far, it seems to have helped lower my choesterol, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I was taking 10mg daily, but I was concerned about possible liver damage and requested my doctor lower the prescription to 5mg.

Dear Friends, I came across this website while doing a yahoo search on simvastatin. Am glad to know, am not alone. I am 42, i was prescribed to take simvastatin for blood pressure on 17 Dec along with other drugs clopidogrel and omeprazole after my ct scan for heart chest pain. My ct scan came clean. I have had many seizures since being on this medication. I never had seizures before but I have had 7 in the last 12 days. I need to get off this medication!!! I am only 13 years old life shouldn't be like this.

Before I started, my cramps were unbearable, I missed school because of it. I went to the doctor about it and they told me about this pill and I began taking it. I have no more cramps and it's really nice not having to worry about your period. It comes every three months and you control when your period happens.

Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana.
