Excellent outcome from taking this daily. I've had chronic adenomosis (a type of endometriosis) for 29 years. My doctor recently switched me from pravastatin to simvastatin, since - despite weight loss and adding regular exercise and fish oil - my total cholesterol levels began to rise again. My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it.
