My nose began to hurt he second day and on the third day I had to stop taking Zicam nasal spray. I admit I used the spray more frequently than was recommended on the instruction sheet. And it was really amazing at ending my cold symptoms. After that (6 months ago), I got sick again, and this time used the tablets. They worked welll too.

Not sure I want to continue this drug due to the bloating and concern about the long-term affects. Was off it for less than a week and the bloating went away--nearly 5 lbs' worth. What replaced it was the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. Got my refill and now the bloat is back. Heartburn is gone, however.

After being diagnosed with epilepsy in March 2011 and having extemely painful terrifying focal and generalised grand mal seizures, I didn't want to take potent antiepileptic meds with very serious side effects.
