I had been taking Zyrtec for about 5 years and before that was taking an older form of Allegra. As many allergy sufferers know, these and all allergy medications only work for a short amount of time before your body becomes immune to the effects. I can honestly say after three months of Xyzal, I have been symptom free since day one. My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow. I only take this right before bed because I know that it makes me extremely sleepy. When I wake up in the morning though, my allergy symptoms are mostly gone. My nose is cleared out, I can breathe freely, and my eyes don't water. It is worth the sleepy feeling to be able to walk outside without sneezing and sniffling.
