I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. I've taken a number of anti-depressents and celexa has had the fewest side-effects and works very well. However, lately I have been having trouble with anxiety attacks. They are severe enough to wake me at night and to also keep me home while I am trying to work through them. This is a new experience only in the last year. I will be looking into it.

Well it worked to prevent pregnancy because there was no way I could've gotten pregnant when I couldn't even have sex since I basically had my period for a month! I have experienced extreme incontinence after only 2 doses (1 2mg tablet and 1 4mg tablet).. I have been really really tired and confused and have had difficulty driving and remembering things I've done during the day. Needless to say I'm taking myself off this medication. I don't know why my doctor put me on it in the first place; I'm not schizophrenic.
