i was advised to take the drug two weeks before my period. i am on my 16th day of my period, i have experienced headaches, bodyaches, hotflashes, nausea, vomiting and of course long periods. i have been hospitalized, the Drs did a blood test, cat scan, pap, ultra and found nothing. i had discussed my concerns and changes i was experiencing after the pill but they all say it cant be the pill as the pill is suppose to help with the period. on the 5th i go for a biopsy. my life is miserable. i k... My Doctor switched me over the Junel from Loestrin last month. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster, sometimes I'm confused and have no control over my thoughts. I'm relieved that I am not the only one. At times I feel like I'm not really here. I have been off of Junel for about a week and am noticing positive differences in my mood. Some days I feel better, other days I feel worse. I'm just waiting for the pill to completely be out of my system so I can be myself again.

First it almost destroyed my liver. Then it attacked my arm and leg muscles and after 3 years they have not fully recovered. I have a neighbor and x brother in law that were on it and both got diabeties and that can be caused from it also. This stuff is pure poison as I ask many while out shopping if they are on it or a family member and about 1/2 say yes or they know someone that takes it and many suffer damage from it. I'm on my second pack of LoSeasonique and I've still been having a monthly period, except it's lighter but about two days longer. I'm almost finished with this pack and the bleeding is just now starting to show signs of stopping (it's much lighter and just spotting). I called my doctor and she's switching me to the regular Seasonique, but I'm only going to give it one pack and if things don't get better, I'm going to see about switching completely. Ok, rather take a multivitamin that includes iron, because the straight iron tends to make me unable to go to the bathroom. Did help take away drowsiness and improve my iron count.
