Like Toradol, an EXTREMELY effective painkiller. Very useful for older patients who are not only often living in chronic pain, but also depressed, anxious, and becoming demented. All my life people described me as being laid-back and happy. But my first year of college I became sad and impatient and moody. Everyone thought I was homesick or having a hard time adjusting to school. When I went to the university clinic to get a new prescription for birth control they gave me a free generic. Cymbalta has done wonders for my fibromyalgia. Lyrica and Savella made me so sick I was throwing up! They did nothing for my pain either. Not Cymbalta, though. It has made me virtually pain free! It has also helped balance out my bipolar II symptoms; especially the depression. Another added benefit included fewer and much milder PMS symptoms. Cymbalta is definitely the drug of choice for me...and no side effects!

I started taking Diovan HCT to combine 2 of my blood pressure medications which I liked a lot because it eliminated 1 pill I had to take. It has worked well in lowering my blood pressure without any noticeable side effects.

Having taken Wellbutrin for several years, I find it does help with keeping my mood better overall. It does not cure the depression, and I am not what I would consider "functional". I still am frequently mentally "overloaded" and shut down. I can handle little pressure. Life in the slow lane is all I can handle, and even that is still too much sometimes.
