Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. My medication has been cut back because I felt like I was fatigued all the time and could not function as I want. There is always a feeling that I am being held back but was told by my doctors that was normal

It helps some, but not a lot. I still have horrible reactions when I am around my worst allergens (ie: dogs, cats) even when I have taken Claritin 24 Hour that morning. For general seasonal allergies it does help keep them at bay enough that I can function. It can also help to dispel some of my headaches, if they are allergy and/or congestion-based.

anytime i generally get a headache I use advil, and it seems to work pretty well. No problems with any kind of sideaffect, I dont use it often just when severe headache.

All my life people described me as being laid-back and happy. But my first year of college I became sad and impatient and moody. Everyone thought I was homesick or having a hard time adjusting to school. When I went to the university clinic to get a new prescription for birth control they gave me a free generic. When I have a head cold, I take Sudafed during the day. It takes my headaches away but makes me really drowsy, almost as if I'm taking Nyquil. I don't recommend it to be taken during the day.

DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar.
